A near fine stated First Edition. The 1960 autobiography of one of America's best loved illustrators. Signed by Norman Rockwell on the front blank preliminary page and this volume is housed in a very good or better unclipped dust jacket. Condition: 8vo. 436 pages + the Frontis Illustration and a 10-page portfolio at the end. Publishers' black cloth with gilt stamped print to the front and spine with colored, decorated endpapers. A small spot near the gutter at the upper spine, softening to the lower spine ends and some spots to the upper and foredge that looks like adhesive residue from the binding process. The dust jacket with the $4.95 price has some light edgewear with a small, closed tear to the upper back and some toning/soiling to the paper on the back cover. Overall, a very good copy of the 1960 first edition Inscribed and signed by Norman Rockwell.
