A near fine copy of the 1969 Signed Limited Edition of Philip Roth's now classic tale of Alexander Portnoy, a neurotic young Jewish bachelor obsessed with sex. This copy was given the low #7 of 600 specially printed and bound by Random House, signed by Roth on the limitation page and housed in a near fine dust jacket and red paper slipcase with the hand numbered (7) on the lower spine. Condition: 8vo. 8.25'' x 5.5''. Original cream textured cloth, facsimile signature to the front and titles on the spine stamped in gilt. Red endpapers with red stained top edge and fore-edge machine deckle. The dust jacket is near fine with a couple of small spots, light edgewear and a bit of sunning to the spine. The red paper slip case has a finger smudge to the front and a couple of chips to the paper at the lower opening. Overall a near fine Signed copy of this 1969 Philip Roth masterpiece.
