Dec 7, 1933 - 6" x 4" with adhesive residue on the verso of the envelope. Frost writes to a friend Phillips Palmer, clarifying remarks he'd made regarding author and critic Gorham Munson: "Gorham Munson is a friend and my small private unhappiness that he shouldn't have found a little more generosity in his heart toward me is nothing to make much of anyway. You are free to judge him for yourself of course even as he was perfectly free to judge me."BOOK SIGNED - A first edition copy of "Robert Frost: A Study in Sensibility and Good Sense" by Gorham B. Munson (New York: George H. Doran Company, 1927 first printing with the Doran logo on the Title page and the GHD device on the copyright page. This copy is signed and dated 1930 by Robert Frost beneath the Doris Ulmann frontis portrait and inscribed by author Gorham Munson, dated March 17, 1927 - Amherst, Ma. on the front blank preliminary page. 8vo. 135 pages including the index, publishers' blue cloth boards with black print and topstain. Light wear to edges and corners with spine ends bumped. Some staining visible along the spine and upper front cover. Toning to the endpages, the previous owners name in ink on the front flyleaf with some spotting along the extreme upper edge of a few pages.
