A near fine SIGNED copy of the 1930 1st trade edition of Robert Frost's Pulitzer Prize winning COLLECTED POEMS signed by Frost in ink without date or inscription on the upper front flyleaf. A fourth printing from Henry Holt and Company, New York, and housed in a very good price clipped dust jacket. The collection consisted of Frost's first five poetry books, including: A Boy's Will (1913); North of Boston (1914); Mountain Interval (1916); New Hampshire (1923); and West-Running Brook (1928). Illustrated portrait of Frost, signed by Doris Ulmann, is tipped in preceding the title page. 8vo, 349 pages - Publishers' attractive light orange-brown linen cloth with gilt stamped rule and titles to the front and spine. A bit of rubbing to the corners and a small bump to the upper spine tip. Pages 347-349 remain uncut. The now scarce dust jacket is clipped at the corners with some chipping along the edges and spine tips, a closed tear on the front cover (with an old tape repair to the verso) and some darkening to the spine. Overall, a nicer that usual copy Signed by Robert Frost.
