Description: A very good or better copy of the First Edition of Thomas Pynchons increasingly scarce 1966 second novel & winner of the Rosenthal Award from the American Academy and Institute of Arts and Letters.  A First Printing with the words 'Frist Edition' printed on the copyright page. This copy is housed in a Very Good unclipped first state dust jacket with the 366 on the upper flap corner and the $3.95 price on the lower front flap corner. Condition: 8vo. 183pp. Publishers yellow cloth-backed gray boards with top page edges stained black. Some foxing and age toning to the cloth boards with light wear to the spine ends. The interior is clean and unmarked. The dust jacket is in very good or better condition with just a small chip to the paper on the authors name on the spine, light wear to the upper spine end and some toning to the jacket flaps. Overall an attractive and quite collectible copy of the 1966 First Edition.
