Volume 1 (548 pages plus the Index) Volume 2 (664 pages including the Index) - Attractive full leather binding recently restored with new leather spine and black leather spine labels stamped in gilt with endpapers refreshed. Wear to edges, corners bumped with a few scrapes and scratches to the original leather boards. The binding is tight, the book is square, and the interior is in a remarkably well-preserved state with the pages clean, bright and white and free of the usual foxing and toning. Overall, a very good or better copy of this important work and one of the finest examples in the market today.
