A very good 1926 hardcover edition of The Silver Spoon, numbered 14/265, signed on the colophon in ink; Published by William Heinemann, Ltd. 8vo. 323 pp. Clothbound with gilt print to spine, gilt top stain and outer and bottom edges uncut. Sunning to cloth edges and spine, Ex-Libris label to front endpaper. Toning to endpapers.
2. A near fine 1930 copy of the slipcased edition of Soames and the Flag, numbered 181/680, signed on the half-title page in ink; Published by Charles Scribner's Sons. 8vo. 61pp. cloth over paper boards with gilt print to spine, gilt topstain and outer and bottom pages uncut. Just light edgewear. The near fine slipcase show very light wear and a small stain to the back boards.
3. A near fine 1928 hardcover edition of Swan Song, with a very good and quite scarce dust jacket, numbered 305/525, signed on the colophon in ink; Published by William Heinemann, Ltd. 8vo. 347 pp. Clothbound with gilt print to spine, gilt top stain and outer and bottom edges uncut. Sunning to cloth edges. The dust jacket is toned with browning to the spine, chipping to the folds and spine ends and several small creases.
4. A fine copy of the 1929 limited edition of A Modern Comedy bound in stiff vellum, numbered 72/1030, signed on the colophon in ink, "John Galsworthy, On Fighting: To fight to a finish knowing you must be beaten is anything better worth it"?
