A first printing of London's early novel of science fiction, mysticism and reincarnation. Lacking the rare dust jacket. Condition: 8vo. 347 pages followed by 8 pages of ads of "Jack London's Other Works." publishers' cloth boards with gilt titles to the cover and spine. Corners and spine tips are rubbed and bumped with light wear to the edges and some rubbing and fading to the colors on the front cover and spine. The interior is clean and unmarked with endpapers refreshed, foxing to a few pages and most notable on the Title Page. The half-title page has been trimmed by about a half inch along the outer edge. Overall, a nice 1915 copy of this unusual Jack London title.
