Description: A very good copy of the 1924 first edition with the proper Harper "K-X" 1st Edition code to the copyright page. Flat signed by the author in his signature purple ink to the front free endpaper. The jacket is  in good condition. Small 8vo, 291 pp. Condition:  The clothbound book has a small bump to the front corners, some sunning to the edge of the  back cover, and  some fading and soiling along the spine with some fraying to the lower spine tip. The interior is clean with some toning to the pages. The dust jacket carries a dynamic wraparound color illustration by Frank Street. Creasing and chipping to the edges, folds and spine ends with a closed tear to the upper front and  a bit of loss to the upper spine end.
