The Book: A very good copy of the 1921 Harper & Brothers Publishers  First edition, and First Printing with the correct Harper date code ("K-V"; October 1921). Frontispiece and black and white illustrations by Frank Spradling. Housed in a good dust jacket with the $2.00 price. 12mo. 311pp. Original bright orange pictorial cloth stamped in black. Condition: Light edgewear with softening to spine ends and rubbing to the corners. The interior is in nice condition, clean and unmarked. The dust jacket shows some edgewear and chipping at the folds and spine ends with several small closed tears. A chip to the paper along the front flap edge. Darkening to the spine and toning to the white paper of the front and back covers. A $2.00 price in pencil written on the spine.  Overall a very good  copy of Grey's fictionalized account of the infamous Graham-Tewksbury Feud between cattlemen and sheepmen in Arizona's Tonto Basin. The book was the basis for the 1933 Paramount film starring Randolph Scott.
